Here in the sleepy town of Olympia at the end of July we have Lakefair. There is a carnival and a parade and fireworks. As much as the kids wanted to go to the carnival, we just didn't have the time. Even though time was tight, we did make time to be in the parade. Here is the group of dancers representing Johansen Olympia Dance Center.

This tired dancer with the bruised tail bone will be walking behind the float. But hey, it is dance so sign her up.

Turns out, he does without even moving his axe.

Later the next night we get yet another show of firework, each one just as magical as the last one.
We find a place to watch and take pictures just across from the most beautiful building in the area. Its glow is beautiful tonight.

I like the reflection of the fireworks in the lake.
The Grande Finale was spectacular but it won't load onto my Blog so you will just have to take my word for it.

Paul's pretty limber for a big guy. Is that because limber is a combination of lumber and timber?
Sign that Bunyan guy up for the dance team. He looks like he can hold up the whole squad.
